It's actually a DBQ, but I'll be fine with discerning the documents. I really just need a framework to go off of when writing the essay because I have a hard time breaking up three paragraphs and what ideas they should be. Any help would be awesome
Here is the question:
Discuss the changing ideals of American womanhood between the American Revolution (1770's) and the outbreak of the Civil War. What factors fostered the emergence of "republican motherhood" and the "cult of domesticity"? Asses the extent to which these ideals influenced the lives of women during this period. In your answer be sure to consider issues of race and class.
So, what I'm really looking for is what my three paragraphs should be about. I will probably write more than three body paragraphs, though, so whatever you think would be great. I know the issue of education definitely needs to be addressed, but other than that, I'm not sure what else.
