Aortic aneurysm

Yes, but it's up to your vascular surgeon to determine if it's safe to "watch and wait" or if it's time for surgery. Most surgeons will go in if it's rapidly growing or over 5cm, so you're on the edge.

thats a pretty large triple A there. i personally would want it taken care of asap. i went thru a brain aneurysm back in 05,and was soo relieved when it was found to be coilable. the instability factor here REALLY needs to be taken into consideration too. when it comes to any aneurysm, you just don;t know when its going to decide to 'go' on you. i would have one serious discussion with your surgeon about this and the best possible ways to treat it,soon. to actually have this even found BEFORE it actually burst on you is a lifesaver. it was found early for a good reason,ya know? just my personal take on finding aneurysms before they do the major devistation they are truely capable of. i do wish you lots of luck with this and hope this can be fixed without any problems. please keep us posted.
