My hair right now is short and dyed black and red. Now I need a personal change so I want to go blonde, but before I go to a hair stylist, I would like to get some of the red out, cause I've bleached over red before and all you get is orange. Then it just makes it that much harder to get the brassiness out.
So I want to at least lighten the red a little so its easier to bleach. Are there anyways to get hair dye to lighten that's homemade or from a grocery store. I don't live near a sally beauty supply and I have little money right now, so I'm more leaning towards something that's is easy to get from home or like, wal-mart. I heard dish soap works? any advice please? Thank you!
