Anything i can do about anxiety?

It all started when i was 13, i am 19 now. For six years i have been excessivly worried about little things like pain or odd feelings in my body. Most of the time these symptoms last a couple days to a couple weeks, and always lead to panic attacks. I have recently taken notice to a few symptoms that appear when my anxiety is high, and i found out i have social anxiety as well. This is all self-diagnosed as of now, but i am set up to start counseling in february. Anxiety has taken over my life: it makes me socially akward, makes me depressed, makes me lonely, affects my school work, and has caused me multiple pointless doctor visits. Is there anything besides medication that i can do? Any advice will help.
