Anyone who owns or knows someone who owns a Dodge Neon....?

Ok im about to buy my 1st car and i found the Perfect<3 match =)
its a 2000 dodge neon (special edition) with a moonroof, keyless entry and 90k miles on it. Now what i want to ask is should i get a Neon because all ive been hearing is that theyre terrible cars and all ill have is issues with it. But some people think otherwise...? Can i get some honest answers and people who have some experience with this car?

In 1999 they redesigned the head gasket so if the build date is after 1999 you should be good there.
The transmission cooler is known to rupture causing the coolant and transmission fluid to mix.
Other than that as long as the maintenance was kept up on it they were reliable cars.
Have it safety inspected before you buy it, this goes with any vehicle.
