I currently own a 1999 rav4 and I'm looking into a 2004 rav4. I know with an infant car seat behind the passenger seat it is a really tight fit. The passenger seat would have to be up all the way and when riding I was basically on the windshield. Anyone who has experience with putting an infant car seat (backwards) in a 2004 on the side not the middle. Is it really tight almost unbearable or is there more room? I have a baby on the way so I need a toddler seat on one side and the infant seat on the other. Thanks to anyone who can help me.
