Anyone using this tank protector?

yeah, tankslapper has a proprietary vinyl film they sell which uses static to cling to the bike. 3M is tougher and more expensive. The full kits are a mix of tankslapper material on the areas that don't face forward and the tank area, and the 3m for the high impact areas (all the surfaces that face forward). I tried the tankslapper material around the tank and ended up getting the same cuts in the 3M material.

It doesn't leave any adhesive behind. The easiest way to remove it is applying some heat from a hair drier and simply pull up on it. It removes pretty easily but can't be reapplied. Great Product

+1 The Invisiguard will pull right off--terminally--if you want to remove it without leaving any residue behind. I put a couple coats of poly-wax on my paint before I applied mine, just to be safe...

The great thing about the tank slapper is you can take it off and reapply it over and over. So, if you put it on and don't like something about it, take it off and do it again. Of course I am referring to the one that you apply with water.

I got the 3M film from the guys at tankslapper. If you follow their instructions exactly the installation looks *flawless* afterwards. I screwed mine up by getting some lint under it, so I am ordering another one, but hopefully the second time around it will be tits.
