Anyone use the Plantronics 655 with a Nokia E61?

I'm sick of the problems with my Nokia E61 pairing with my Jabra BT250. Awesome headset, but simply does not play nice with the E61.

Has anyone tried using the Plantronics 655 with the E61?
 
I had the 655 for a few days. Paired perfectly. Worked quite well on my end, but I was unclear to those I was talking to. I was trying it out over the Voyager 510...and went back to it. The volume is high, comfortable enough and my calls come through as clear as being on the handset.
