anyone tell me what gm motor this is?

it came out of a 1966 chev chevelle 4door parts car, we doubt its the Original motor.
on the driver side, at the back of the block the number 14094768 (or 88, or 63, its real hard to tell). In the middle at the the block GM6010 is stamped, and on the passigner side the word CANADA is stamped..
it has a 4bbl carb. thanks

Ok, they had 283s and 327s if they were a small block,and 396s if it is a big block. To tell if it it is a 283 or 327, look up in the front of the engine, below the passenger side of the intake, close to where the filler neck goes in. If it has a raised boss, near the front oil plug, it is a 283, if it is relatively smooth, its probably a 327. Also under the passenger side head, there is a flat boss, with all the engine numbers on it, it should tell you what ya need to know by chasing the numbers down. The numbers on the back are just casting numbers!
