Anyone seen the new Hitcher movie?

Hello,
Has anyone seen the remake of the Hitcher? I quite fancy it but everyone I know says it looks rubbish & won't go to see it. Ironic as they'll sit and watch Wedding Daze!

Sadly, yes I have. Not great and totally pointless remake. AdRAB nothing. Don't waste your money.

The original Rutger Hauer version is a classic. I cannot even believe an actor would try to fill his shoes in a remake. Nobody plays a psycho better than Rutger Hauer

One of my frienRAB got hold of it off the net and said it was good but it's had such bad reviews I don't think I'll bother.

Plus I'm led to believe that Sean Bean is adopting a mixed US/Sheffield accent like he did in Silent Hill and he was pretty unbearable in that...

I don't know why Hollywood don't just let Sean Bean keep his Sheffield accent, it would probably make the film freakier to American audiences as they'd struggle to understand him.
