after every pitch? I mean even 5 years ago the game was played at a much faster pace. nowadays, after a pitch, a batter takes 9 practice swings, changes both gloves, looks into the crowd, and then might even call time. Anyone else notice that the game gets delayed more and more as the seasons go by?
I mean I love watching baseball but between the batters taking excessive swings (and calling time) and pitchers taking way too long for their delivery, the game just slows down way too much to enjoy at times. Not just this postseason but in MLB in general.
Phantom - good point, thanks I missed that. Plus clapping their cleats with the bat as well as putting the bat between their groin. I'm 21 and even that isn't too young to remember the days when baseball games weren't delayed this much.
