I don't remember much about this book, but I read it when I was younger and I've been trying to find it for a long time. And yes, I know these are vague details.
-I think it involved a girl who was friends with a witch. The witch had an umbrella that might have played a significant part in the story (I remember it was at the beginning and the end of the novel), and I believe her favorite color was purple.
-The antagonist was a man named Ezekiel. At the end of the book it was revealed that he was using voodoo dolls on some of the protagonists.
-Magic circles were involved, for protection of the main characters...I think a mirror may have also been involved (the word mirror might have been in the title) and I think (but I'm really not sure on this one) that time travel might have been involved.
