I am planning on starting the journey named the Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike in early march, so far the plan is to do the hike by myself beginning the 2655 mile hike in compos CA just outside of the mexican boarder! Was wondering if there was anyone else that was planning to do the trip around the same time frame that would like some company, or anyone that could share some of their experiences from past hikes 
Well the hike usually takes people around 6 months to complete! I want to attempt the record (currently sitting at 65 days) my goal is 63.. thats hiking right around 40 miles a day! no transportation no hotels just trail!
