Anyone out there? Sciatic pain issues

Hey Spiney i am wondering if there is anyone that suffers from Sciatic pain and if so do they have sypmtoms similiar to this: As my leg/back gets worse i am finding that when i walk my toes curl under and hurt so bad. It's driving me nuts because nothing really helps this. My Dr. said exercise yesterday how can you when it causes you this distress geesh.

Look online for foot care products or look in the foot care department at a drugstore for products that are for hammertoes. There are a nuraber of different types of products that are designed to straighten the toes and keep them from curling under. You might need to try several different types before you find one that works for your particular problem.
 
Hello, monkey...I, too, suffer from severe Sciatic nerve pain. My pain feels like this: severe burning in the left buttock, which goes down the back of my left leg, painful muscle cramps, and leg weakness. I realize that everyone is different but wanted to share with you my experience with Sciatic nerve pain.
 
Do you have crampy pain in your toes when they curl under? Maybe your foot is cramping? When I had severe left sided sciatica, which ran from my rear down into my outer foot & toes, most of my foot was nurab at first; but I was also getting foot cramps and at that time, the cramps didnt even hurt b/c it was all nurab. I even get foot cramps at times while standing or while in my shoes or driving. It usually hurts except when I had that severe nerve compression. Other than that, it might be somethign unrelated to the spine such as marlos suggested.
 
baybreeze,yes it is like a cramping and it's only seems to be real bad when walking. I was gonna post soon and let all know that when i told my arthritis Dr. about this this am. he told me to let the Neurologist know as he believes it has something to do with my back and wait for the MRI results,and then if it doesn't show anything wich i am almsot positive it will then but if it doesn't then hes gonna start giving my injections in my hip and knee. It;s kinda like yours, in my shoes and slippers it curls under and hurts real bad but with nothing on it just aches real bad. Wish me luck on finding with this upcoming MRI.
