I'm looking into buying a motorcycle (used) however, I'm not sure whether or not the deal is good. The bike that I am looking at is a 2006 Honda CBR600 F4I, with 13,761 miles. Is that to much miles for a 2006, and how many miles can this bike live up to with proper maintenance? I appreciate anyones help. Thanks!

Hondas typically run for a very long time, and the F4I is a really good, reliable, fun bike. As long as you don't beat the &^*% out of it doing wheelies, frying the clutch, and leaving out in crappy weather, you should get 50,000 miles at least out of it. Although by that time (this happened to me), you will grow bored of the 600cc's power & probably graduate to a 1000cc liter bike!

It all depends on how it is ridden and maintained.

If the previous owner didn't beat the crap out of it and kept up on routine maintenance, there should be many more years of trouble free riding left in this bike.

However you are part of the equation.

If you beat the crap out of this bike and don't take care of it, don't expect it to last very long.

This goes for any name brand motorcycle.
