do you have any Kids? My partner is finding it hard to get work, and also decent work in the recession. we live together in a 3 bed house with our dog (rented and only place that was decent and accepted a dog). So many of our friends have either recently got married or had a baby and moved back with their parents in order to save enough money to buy a house since they now need 20% rather than the 5-10% before the recession.

Anyone got any experiences of this themselves. We live in Uk. I Know not the best situation but no way we can save money with our current outgoings and incomings ratio.

If we moved in with my parents we would get a bedroom with en suite and an extra bedroom to use as a living room, also get a roof terrace so will almost be like a mini flat inside a house.

our background: Ive moved out 4 years ago, been to uni, recently graduated from my masters and am currently 3/4 through my pharmacist registration year, My partner (who is 30) moved to england last summer from denmark. He got work but has since left his job because his line manager first wouldn't let him leave when his shifts finished even though everything was complete, and slapped him round the face for doing something wrong but never told him what ... not as if we had planned for our income to decrease and he isnt entitled to job seekers allowance whilst looking for work because i am under 25 and he hasn't worked for 2 years in this country (he has only been here one) .... i am lucky to have great parents that are willing to help :) but I am not sure what we should do
