Ok, so i have used it for a few days and i like it enough to keep it.
First, the hardware-
the phone has a nice weight to it, its not heavy but also dosent feel like a cheap plastic toy. The way the screen slides is nice, it has a curve to the motion, it isnt just straight. one major anoyance tho, when the screen is closed and you push on it semi-hard, it creakes. ive talked to others and this seems to be common is various degrees. mine isnt too loud, but sounds like an old hardwood floor when i push on it. its personal to you ans depends on the phone hoe much it will bother you.
the five line keyboard is nice. it has everything youll need easy to get to. i mentioned the "chin" before, and you DO get used to it after a while. my only complaint bout the keys are that they are not deep enough. it takes alot od practice to know id youve actually hit it and if you hit it hard enough. it dose not make a nice "click" when you push it. i kind of found that annoying, but it is good for typing in a quiet place likea meeting or classroom. its personal prefrence.
the screen is nice and big with a great backlight. it's touch sensors are good, but it does not support multitouch, and thats a shame.
the battery life sucks at first, but after the RC30 update rolled out and after a few power cycles of the bettery, its gotten better. dont expect more then a day's use out of it after its dead.
the 3G is fun, the wifi works, the GPS is nice, the accelarometers are good, the magnetic compus is fun, the android market place is great as well.
this is all i can think of right now, but feel free to ask me any questions about it.
all of this was typed from my G1.
