Anyone know why I fill up so fast at a buffet?

Ok, I can eat pretty well for a small girl but I am curious, why is it when I go to any type of buffet, in vegas, or around home such as Soup Exchange, why is it that I fill up so fast??? Not that I am trying to put it away or anything but I noticed it happens often. Are they adding fillers to the food?
 
it could be because your not eating fast enough... dr.'s say tht if ur eating for 20 minutes, you will be full even if u havnt ate tht much
 
I really don't think it's fillers. When a person goes through a buffet line, you eat differently than when you are home. You eat things you normally don't eat all the time at home. Plus, buffets just "make" you eat more! You just put "more" food on your plate!
