We like the woods. So no place dry or ugly. IF it's green and there are trees, we will like it. We live an hour from Amarillo, and are willing to travel about 6 hours. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
Caddo Mills, Lake Conroe, Lake Whitney, Lake Fork(record bass lake), Richland Chambers Reservoir, Lake Livingston, Lake Limestone, Toledo Bend. Pretty much anything along I-45 and east of I-45 will have what you are looking for.
