Anyone know what this book is called?

I am trying to remember the name of a picture book I read in primary school. It involved a number of viruses invading different parts of the human body, from the scalp to brain, evolving as they went or being defeated by the body's defenses until only one survived the brain (a brown coloured one with an army hat if I recall).
