...on the gas accelerator? I have a 2008 ford sport trac adrenaline. I hear a whistle or whining sound when i press on the gas for a couple of seconds. The sound is similar to the sound of when you turn the air on or off of the closing or opening of the vents. Anyone have any idea what it could be?
 
in my old Taurus SHO, the intake system was pretty loud, and when you hit the gas, you could hear the air rushing passed the throttle plate. it's not a bad thing in any way, it's jsut louder than most other engines.
