Now, to start with, from what I can remember I've only seen bits and pieces of this movie but I remember loving it and would like to watch the entire thing. This is what I can remember:
-At some point the main characters travel on a boat (a sail boat).
-The main characters travel from modern time to a "fantasy" land.
-I think (key word: think) the main characters were a boy, a girl and their father (their mother was either dead or missing; this somehow plays a part in the movie).
-I believe someone gets turned to stone.
-I believe it was made in the 70s or 80s.
-For any Canadians out there it used to play on YTV around Christmas every year.
