Anyone know if I can have a thorough diagnostic testing done of my heating system .?
Hi, I have had continuous problems with air in my heating system since having a boiler fitted last year. Please do not tell me to go back to the installer as that is not an option, but I have had several heating people look at the system all with different answers as to what may be causing the problem. Can anyone tell me if there is somewhere I can go that will run a series of diagnostic tests on the system that may be able to pinpoint exactly where the air is coming from as I am coming up against brick walls the whole time and it is getting me down as I don't know what to do now.
Hi, it is a Baxi solo open vented system. Not a combi boiler as I have a tank in the loft and a cylinder in the airing cupboard. The boiler was fitted about a year ago and has always had a problem with air as I can hear water within the boiler. the rads and pipes make rattling air noises from time to time all over the house but I can't pinpoint a definite pattern. I have had various changes made to the pipes and valves, pump etc and the water is clean and I have a magnaclean fitted. Nobody seems to know where to look-I am convinced it is a problem with the boiler as I never had any problem before but Baxi changed the heat exchanger when I had them out to start with and now say it must be my system hence my despair over this. Thanksk for any help you can offer.
