Anyone know how to use ARMY ASK?

I am signed up for the army to leave May 27th to Fort Knox Kentucky.
I am trying to put my request's to where I will be stationed through ASK through my AKO but it keeps denying me access because it can not retrieve my SSN through my AKO? It says that it can either not retrieve my SSN or that I am not Regular Army Active Duty Enlisted as the reasons I am denied access? Can someboy PLEASE help me it would be very much appreaciated.
Sorry if I confused anybody with all that I just want to know how the ASK works because I really want to be stationed in either TX,AZ,CA,WA, and so far nobody in the army has exlpained when I get to fill out ASK, so I just dont want to get screwed out of my chance to fill it out. I know that they wil send you anywhere they need you, but if there is a chance I can get what I want, then why not take it?

Ok, I just did it:

Here is what you do,

1. Login into AKO
2. Scroll down and on right side it will say "Army Links"
3. Under "Army Links" it will say "Assignment Satisfaction Key"
4. Click on link and it will take you to the ASK website which is www.ask.army.mil.
5. On the top of this page it will have a bunch of links, including: Home, contact, MACP, preference etc. etc.
6. Click on preference link and put in your preferences.

If it is not working for you, then you need to bring it up to your leaders or put a helpdesk request in through the website.
