Anyone know how these pipes sound?

Maybe you got a better link?

(Might be my computer.....)

Or can you link them?

But just judging from your post.......I'll hazard a guess....

Look into picking your favorite pipes, then look into Thundermonster baffles. They quiet down that brash obnoxious sound the 800 makes when uncorked with straight pipes. They'll give that deeper bass sound that a lot of guys are after.

The Roadhouse products (2:1) give the deep sound. Excellent performance. Yet suffer in the eye candy department.

The Jardine 2:1 is the everyman of the Suzi 800 engine department. It embraces the inherent design of the engine and enhances the sounds coming out of it. It sounds deep at low rpms, at high rpms, it wails, but not obnoxiously like some of the VL/VZ straight pipes I've heard.

For those that didn't see it, that links to a Road Burner Double Eagle Black Hawk with SLT, at only $450. That's $200 less than Gman sells the pipes for, and an exceptional price. The SLT is going to give you a deep low sound with plenty of volume when you hit the throttle, but not obnoxious ratty noise like an unbaffled or straight pipe. The performance on the torque band is supposed to be among the best.
