Anyone know how? Picture, Photography Pros?

ok so i have a digital picture by Ben Watts from the XXL magazine December 2008 issue. It is a JPEG of 445 * 297 pixels. i want to enlarge to make a wallpaper. So is there anyway to increase the size of the picture and increase the clarity. Also is there then anyway to find the original edited picture from magazines online? which i am sure that it will be of a better quality so that would be one way. again the magazine is XXL and the photographer is Ben Watts. picture title is The Seminar/or/Freshman 10 dropouts. thankx people really need this fro some reason.

First part - no. A small web jpeg will not enlarge well. the reason for using lo-res jpegs is so people don't "borrow" them and enlarge them.
2nd part - contact the magazine and/or photographer.

Sure, that's easy. Contact the photographer directly and ask to buy a high resolution image. If you have trouble finding contact info ask the magazine.

The pixel dimensions you stated should give you a very, very bad wallpaper, unless you love conceptional art for art's sake.
Try contacting XXL and find out for yourself if the photo is for sale.
