...the band Blur?

...specifically, I'd like to seek their permission to use the title of one of their albums as the title of my film screenplay. In the screenplay there will be many references to their lyrics and songs.

I'm only writing it for fun (I've always wanted to write a screenplay), but should (however unlikely) it be bought by a film producer, I want to make sure that part of the permissions process has already been done. I'd hate to write a good screenplay only for any chance of it being filmed being ruined due to copyright infringement, etc.

My thoughts so far would be contacting Damon Albarn and/or Parlophone....but finding their contact details is tricky.

Any tips would be greatly received.

find out who their agent is then write to them failing that try a face book group page. if that fails MAX CLIFFORD

Yeah, that's what I searched for but no easy way to find their agent (unless I'm looking in the wrong places!).
