I've got a 1996 Honda Civic Straight drive... here lately i've been having some problems with it we been workin on it all weekend and can't figure it out....
By the way this Honda has been rebuilt about 2 years ago, so everythin on its just about new. It's still got the 1.6 in it, but everythings top of the line.
Right now when i'm drivin it and give it a lil more gas than it might need, it will start sputtering like it's about to cut off( but it never has) then u have to let off the gas and just easy on it for it to stop doin it... we replaced the temperature sender in it so far but that didn't make a difference. We thought that it was that sender because when we unpluged it, and the computer went into "band-aid mode" it wouldn't do the sputtering and acting up like it was. So that's why we tried replacing that sender. O yea and the spark plugs are good in it.
Also when it gets cold outside (about 40 somethin or below) it's very hard for it to start. But once you try to start it for a while and it gets a lil warm it will finally start.
If anybody has any ideas what might be causing this please let me know.. thanks...
