Anyone know about weird stuff going on in Lake Tahoe?

It is a really deep lake and I have heard stories from reputable people that say people have been found in other lakes and rivers that are close by. They say there are underground rivers and caverns that carry people that drown away. Most people that drown there are never found. Some say its because its so deep and the dont float cause the water is too cold to decompose and release gases.
