I made the mistake of buying a used Palm Treo 650 (Sprint) from a store in town and it ended up being broken. The things that it does are the following:
The buttons (numbers) really only half work. You press them, they either do nothing or open different windows that should be opened by other buttons on the phone.
It CONSTANTLY vibrates. I cannot find out why. It has a clear ESN, however I cannot have Sprint activate it because the buttons don't work correctly.
It takes forever to charge.
My question is: Are these some known problems to the Treo line or Palm products in general? My husband only wanted a smart phone and I got it for very inexpensively, but the fact of the matter is: We want it to work, so our purchase will not have been made in vain and he will have a phone. Are there any sites to get tips on these phones? I'm more of a Blackberry person myself, and that is what he wanted originally but this was cheap and seemed nice for the age (little did we know...)
