I have answer this question many times before and I am not satisfied with the answers. I love reading especially if they are challenging. But I am also picky. Here's what I like and not like to read. I'm a teenager just to let you know but I like to read above my reading level.
-no classics thank you, I heard of them but let me save them for school
-books that are good but not well known to the public
-do not give me twilight, holes, harry potter, the secret life of bees, the notebook, or any kind of book that public has heard of or been made into a movie
-I like fantasy because I have a good imagination
-I'm one of those people who are crazy about action and adventure
-I can read a romance story as long it's a good plot and not sappy or stupid
-if they include high school drama I will not read it since I seen it already in school and it's bad enough in real life.
-I have read too many stories where the plot focus on dealing with drugs, abuse and etc
-though those issues can be a side story
-If it's one of those "how to make life better" ones then I'll read the books I have already read
-super natural is good
-no sparkly vampires
-I don't have time to read a series that is like 12 books
-an original plot please
-I would love it if the protagonist is a strong independent female and maybe a tomboy
-politics and sci-fic bore me sometimes
-I would love you if you give me one with a historical setting
-another thing about romance, I would love it if the couple hate each other first
-remember I don't want to read any classics since I'm reading them in school
-any art involved
-Good books please
