anyone here could help me in this BIOLOGY LAB REPORT?

ok so I want to write more controlled variables. I wrote 3 controlled variables until now and btw I am an IB student.
Anyway here is what I am doing (Ecology):
I did an experiment on a field, to calculate the diversity index of two areas. the first area was close to the street across the valley and the second area was away from the street on the hills of that valley.
I calculate the plant species and saw some insects on the area the samples. I set the sample through having drawn a rob around certain area on square shape and site the angles through wooden stands.
I want to write other controlled variables, what do u suggest??

You can write if there was a difference between the amount of trees ad grass there was? Was there any water close to any of your locations? Temperature factors?
The cars create pollution, which is a factor to consider in such report.

Just think of all the things that can be around or that are different from one another.

Make sure you explain everything clear, like if you were writing it for a fifth grader!

Well this part of your explanation is not clear.
Anyway, to help you I suggest you go through the "Practical Biology" book meant for class XII CBSE, where this experiment is included.
