I also thought about this...but in the end I just want the added heat retention; the looks is just a bonus.

I don't really think the brand is as important as the prep before you paint. Just make sure its 2000 degree of higher heat resistant paint. The can should (mine did) have a picture of a big block V8 on it.

The color of mine is flat black...better then the stained old titanium gold.

To keep the heat from smokin your legs do what I did....home made heat shields.

With out going outside and getting a different one this is one that I took after I did them.





I didn't need to do the upper half so I only did the bottom up to the head.

why is everyone so hung up on the 2010 termis? Ya they look nice, but $3700 is insane. why not just get the akra in titanium and have pipes that look nice to begin with. For cheaper too.
