everything works fine when the usb is plugged into my laptop. The usb is detected and the space is shown as 31.4gb. Also when i add files by dragging or any other means, the loading bar on my windows shows that all the files are being put in. But when i remove the usb after use and put it into another computer, the files go corrupt, in the sense that folders lose all their files and all thats left is a randomly created file with very very interesting characters. I even did safely remove and that didnt work. Since the characters are ones that windows cant recognize, they dont delete when i say delete. So i have to format my usb to delete the files. I want to know is there a way to fix it so that i can ACTUALLY transfer files onto my usb? I have a Dell Xps 1530 thats fully loaded with Vista and ive never had a problem with any other usb, just this one.
