Anyone having problems setting up their ipod touch with verizon email?

I cant figure out why I cant add my email to the ipod touch. Ive taken it to the store and they did add verizon to mine BUT now Im trying to set up my fathers. If anyone out there that can give me some advise please HELP ME!!!!!
