Anyone having problems connecting the Wii to their wireless network?

I have a WRT54G setup like an access point... I can connection on my Laptop... but not the Wii.

I checked my security settings and even went as far as disabling encryption.

And no, my mac address filter is not enabled...

I have the same router but I don't have a Wii yet, I have the default settings with no security, hopefully it works for me.

The console is shown as connected in my router administration menus...

I guess maybe Nintendo's network is down

I have the same router and it finds it, but won't connect. I bet the Network won't be up until EVERYONE has Wii's West coast and everyone else.

I am using an apple airport and also an airport express to boost the signal a bit in my room.

Wii found the network and connected with no problems.

The servers are incredibly busy because of the launch and are bouncing up and down. Both the Wii servers and our SWEBS (nintendo.com).

I figured out that the firmware on my router (http://www.dd-wrt.com) is incompatible with the Wii

This firmware is the only fw I can use, because original Linksys FW works for shit with my college network
