Anyone have problems with a defective wheel bearing in an 07 Ford Explorer.

The same thing happened to my Grand Cherokee with only 27,000 miles.It was timed out of warranty by 2 weeks,The dealer wanted $500 so i changed it myself.The bearing and hub assembly cost about $130,same as your Ford.
 
It has 40,000 miles on it.? The dealer rotated my tires a week ago and now a week later, my wheel bearing is gone and it is making so much noise. Has anyone else had a problem. Do you think it is something my dealer did. I just cant believe that after 40,000 miles i am putting $500 into it. This may be my last FORD!
