anyone have or know about the LG GW525 and have any helpful tricks?

i have had this phone for about 2 months and i got it in australia and it hasnt come out there yet because i ordered it from the net so i cant ask the shops... can you use the arrows on the keypad to move your options on the screen. say if your going through your contact list instead of using ur fingers acan you use the arrows? it wont let me so if u know how to set the setting on how>
anyone got any other helpful tricks that doesnt come with the maunual ?
