Anyone have experience with faulty ground connection on 2003 Mazda MPV

causing PMC to set error code P0108? I paid $500 for parts that weren't needed and the factory paid about $2000 (including a new PCM that wasn't needed) before the real cause (grounding problem) was found. The week before the problem came up I was camping near the Pacific ocean for 4 days. Perhaps a salt air corrosion issue? It certainly fooled the factory trouble-shooters for a few days. Other than this, there have been zero problems with this car in it's 72,000 mile lifetime. Good car.
 
that code has nothing to do with faulty ground ??
PO108 is manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit high input
