I am on my 4th Honda (a 2002 Accord) which has 71,000 miles and needs a new transmission. The '00s-'02s have bad trans, and Honda extended the warranty to 100k miles for the '00s and the '01s, but not my car. I called HQ to ask about a goodwill fix and they were unsympathetic, despite this being a widely known problem with thousands of online posts. Now I want to escalate the issue. Anyone have contact info? I wrote Consumerist.com but did not get a response.
