Boost is Sprint. Coverage will be the same.
You are correct, for a single person, who does a lot of texting/talking/internet it's a good deal, for 2 people, however, you can get a family plan with Sprint for less, depending on the phone... If you both wanted Android phones where you both need unlimited data, it's going to be more expensive, but the phones available for Boost that have internet, aren't really very good for internet browsing anyway, which is why they can offer "unlimited" data - they know you won't use that much...
