Should I get it fixed or trade it in on a cheap car? I need new tires, and I've been driving on what I believe are some bad uv joints. It makes some terrible noise in the front axle. I have no idea how much that would be to fix, but money is very tight. I don't have a car payment now, and don't really want/ or can afford one. Should I take my chances and trade it in on another car (at a buy-here-pay-here -- which I know ends up costing WAY more) that may have its own set of new problems or should I get this one fixed?
Also, the trans leaks a little for a few years now, and it's a V8 4-wheel drive all the time - so it's not even decent on gas. I do love it, and have been driving an suv of some sort so long I don't even feel safe driving a car anymore. Thanks for all your input. Really stuck on which way to go.
