Deployed airbags mean that it has been hit in an accident. Make sure that you check for body damage or worse...frame damage. It should be fine unless something unseen was knocked loose upon impact.
 
Don't buy it! Turn and run for the hills!. If the air bags have deployed the vehicle has definitely been in a collision. It may also have a salvaged title, ( which some insurance companies will not insurance.) Also if its on the road chances are it hasn't been repaired properly. Take it ( before purchase) to your local auto body repair and have them inspect it for you. If the seller won't allow you to, walk away!
