Anyone have a Honda Fit or Toyota Yaris? How do you like it?

My Ford died and I was thinking about getting a Fit or a Yaris. Only problem is, Fits are pretty scarce around here and I would have to drive out of my way to get one from a dealership. So what do you guys think about the Fit or Yaris? Any suggestions on other dependable vehicles on the cheap side? Any information would be appreciated.
