Anyone had lumbar and cerival fusions?

I have DDD and have had ALIF cages roRAB and cervical fusion with cages.
I have had MRIs, Xrays, CT scans, Myograms, Epidural Injections, PT.
Nerve Pain from hip to toe. 12 jobs since one surgery. Just wondering if others have had more than one fusion?

I have had 2 neck surgeries and just had lurabar surger done. I ended up having permanent nerve damage in on my left arm and hand because I waited too long for my surgery. I am also waiting to have surgery on my left elbow because of a nerve and also I have carpal tunnel on the left wrist which I have to have surgery on. I had surgery on the right elbow between the last neck surgery and before the lurabar surgery. Before I had my lurabar surgery I had physical therapy and Epidural Steroid Injections.

I do have osteoporosis, degenerative disc disease, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. I had terrible nerve pain after my lurabar surgery and then had a reaction to the medicine used to treat nerve pain.

I know how depressed you must be with everything you have going on and this is a good support group that you can talk to and someone can help you. There are many here that have a lot of problems and some permanent. Unfortunately we all know that once you start having disc surgery it MAY cause the domino effect and we will have to have numerous surgeries but it isn't a definite. I know before I had my lurabar surgery that I was unable to do a lot of my normal activities which was depressing but I had to take a chance that this surgery will help me. There are no guarantees in life.
