Well, I'm guessing people who have grown out of acne won't be browsing this section much but I figured I'd ask anyway, I could sure use some reassurance right about now. Has anyone here grown out of acne in their 20s or later, or know someone who has, particularly if your/their acne started at an early age (early teen or preteen). Usually it seems people who get acne early grow out of it early, and those who get it later end up having adult acne. Yet here I am, nearly 23, and still having problems. I don't remeraber when mine started exactly, but I was still in elementary school, and no one else at my school had it yet.
I'm sick of the strict low GI diet where the slightest slip will cause my skin to explode, and having to use topicals every day or risk a similar fate. Anyway I'd like to think there's at least a chance I might still grow out of this. Can you suddenly grow out of acne at any age? No one else in my family has adult acne or had anything more than mild acne, so I have nothing to reference in that regard.
