Anyone going through retail sales adviser process at o2?

Well i initally applied for a job in halifax working in the store as a sales advisor, passed the phone interview but didnt get to the face to face as i called to switch to a more local branch. took the interview at the bradford branch, but didnt get the job.

A week later i got a call from o2 asking if i was still interested in the job at the bradford job, so i agreed and they said they would call me back. the next day i recieved a call saying the bradford job wasnt available, but a position at the halifax store had re-opened, and asking whether i was interested or not.

again i agreed and they said they would call me back. the next week they called back telling me the shifts and times and weather they were ok for me so again i agreed, and they said they would call me back. some days went passed and i got worried so tried to contact them on three to four occasions but couldnt get through.

another week passed and i thought they must have filled the position so forgot about it. they called back saying i had to get to the halifax store asap, so i went down, was greeted by the manager who didnt conduct any type of interview and just gave me loads of paperwork to fill, then told me once the papers had to be sent to be cleared and make sure criminal record was clean and that i would get a call telling me a start date.

my question being have i got the job, or is theyre more i have to go through, and has anyone else been in this position?
