Anyone get a Rogers Curve unlocked by Rogers???

I just got off the phone with rogers and after bitching to them they said they would unlock a curve if I upgrade to one. No charge. All you have to say is that you will be using the phone in the US or Europe soon make it sound like you do a lot of traveling. Oh yah they are more inclined to unlock it if you out right buy the phone and the curve is on sale right now for 449 with out contract. basically 100 bucks more than the 3 year price (almost worth it in my mind). All this being said dont go a get the curve just yet. Rogers should have the new 8820 by the latest end of Sept. I have a reliable source in rogers that said they should have it 30 days after the US releases it. Lets hope shes right.
 
go to EBay and look for unlcking service......i got my 8100R done through Ebay for $60 CDN and it takes about 2 weeks......but IT WORKS~for SURE
