Anyone fix their SE Z520 before ?

Hey guys
My flex cable died on my Z520, i ordered a new one, put it in, and it didnt work.
before i opened it the phone was working, just messed up.
i ordered a new one again, does anyone know how to properly install this cable
as i did the same way i had it before.
any guides etc.

I have. When you get the new one, don't install it fully by looping it in with the hinge. Just connect both ends of the flex cable to each corresponding board of the phone and power up it up, so you'll know whether it's working or not. Putting the flex cable in just takes some patience while not forcing it in to the point you damage it.

With a few others randomly PMing me about this same situation, I'll try to get some time and make a guide in maybe at least 2 weeks (because of the Thanksgiving weekend). I have not seen a How-To guide for the Z520i or something similar, but if anyone wants, please do.
