So im taking a course called cultures in contact, and we have to write a reflective essay about a situation that occured due to cultural miscommunication. here is what is written exactly
"Select an intercultural communication event that you have viewed, read, participated in, or in which you have been a direct observer. The objective of the paper is to analyze the communication event by describing and assessing the impact of the different cultural patterns on the outcome of the encounter. The paper is obviously not simply a description of what happened. Rather, it is an attempt on your part to provide an explanation for why the event transpired in the way in which it did"
Please if you're writing an event, write it in detail so i understand fully and be able to analyze it from a cultural and communication aspect.
